Planning and Partying

So we are almost two weeks in to the engagement and Maddie and I are really rockin-and-rollin with all our wedding planning stuff. We are getting married in November, so that really is just a stone's throw away. So there were several important things that we had to get done in order to keep us from starting out way behind with all the planning.

But now we can safely say we have a date, a place, colors, catering, photographer, and registry all figured out. We are really just doing awesome! It is so nice planning all this with Maddie. She has been extremely humble and wise through all this so far. I know it is just week two of our engagement but she has just been fantastic as we have worked though all our little decisions. It makes me very happy to know this is the girl that I get to spend the rest of my life with!

Over the weekend we wore ourselves out with planning, then Monday night we got to get some dinner with a big group of our friends. We went over to Susan and Andrew's new house (which is awesome!) and we had a cookout (I had serious grill-envy by the way). It was our first night to just hang out with everyone as an engaged couple. With me being at Eagles View Church now and Maddie still attending NorthWood we don't get a chance to see everyone together anymore. So it meant a lot to me, but it was just awesome to see Maddie and I interact with our friends and know that these moments are the ones I have to look forward to. Just hanging out with our crazy friends and their crazy kids, loving life.

Life is good. Everything is really falling into place for Maddie and I and our future together. God really has us taken care of!
